Madbouly said the government has already held three meetings to follow up on the president's directives announced during the inauguration of the Strategic Command Headquarters in the New Capital.
He highlighted that this amount is nearly equal to the total spending on all cash support programs between 2011 and 2017 combined.
The minimum wage will be raised to EGP 7,000, and workers will also benefit from a cost-of-living allowance of EGP 1,000 starting in July.
These packages include planned salary and pension increases, which are set to take effect at the start of the new fiscal year in July 2025.
Madbouly also pointed out that wages and salaries will increase in the upcoming fiscal year.
